This issue “review” talk of Arashi ni Shiyagare episodes that aired 1/14, 1/21, and 1/28.
Interview was done on 1/26.

The guest was on January 21st was Endo Kenichi, an actor Nino has starred with in a drama (Amagigoe, 1998)!
I met him at the variety filming location and it felt like we had a new energy, but when I meet him where we filmed before, I think “our atmosphere hasn't changed”. We are just the same as before.
I had a bit of a intimidating image of him. But he isn't scary at all. He is the type of guy that likes to relax and drink hot tea.
Endo is the type of guy who really sharpens himself and is hard on himself...
As a listener though, every story he has gives a strong impact. He can be fun to listen to!
His generation and environment in which he grew up is completely different from ours. Also, his family members didn't have to keep a money jar growing up to save for things.
The fact that my family uses a money jar to save up to travel abroad isn't very celebrity-like?
Ahh, I understand what you mean!
One of Endo's brought-in projects was “Enken Championship!” and it was hilarious!
It was so challenging, and the confrontation was awful!
It was awful! His appeal for it is that we have done challenges like this in the past. But actually, we hadn't done anything like that...
I wanted to say something about how we hadn't possibly done something like that in the past, but I couldn't... (laugh)
Oh, I just remembered something, I was running around. He was like my jockey at that time!
I was getting so impatient during the challenge though. I was carrying half already next to me. (laugh)
If you were to do another Endo Championship, is there anything in particular you want to do?
I don't know if there's anything I want to do...
I wanna do “Striking, Wearing JanKenPon”! (note: tatite, kabutte, jankenpon is a game that originates from a corner in the old TV program “YOUNG! O! O!” by the comedy troupe Rakugo Family Six Dynasty, “Rokudai Katsura Funshi”.)
That's a good idea! And no matter what we do with Endo, it is always interesting!

Let's move on to January 28th, where the guest was IKKO for the “Hideout Arashi” segment.
I don't wear makeup at all, so I had no idea how to “fix up” a face. I was like, “Ehh, you really have to do this much?”
Ah, because we're men we do feel like that. (Even if we wear makeup, it is less than a woman wears.)
Until now, have you ever seen or had a makeup consultation before? What about full face makeup?
Last year, maybe the most makeup I have ever seen or had on, was the Clover CM makeup. Maybe that is as close as it gets.
Oh right, we did wear so much then!
Other than that, I can't remember wearing full makeup. Recently, men who wear concealer and foundation are becoming common. But to me, that isn't really makeup, because it is just giving you a clear face and not changing too much else about it. I don't wear it though! (laugh)
I have worn “baka” makeup before. Shimura (Ken) had me put on white paint makeup before!
On the January 14th “Hideout Arashi” segment, Aiba challenged himself to try to be feminine though, right?
Seriously though, that challenge was really really difficult.
When I saw the broadcast, I thought, “Ah, after having to endure all of that makeup, he is doing his best to be a real performer and pull off the character!”
I can't even imagine being those perfomers. They have to put on layers and layers of thick white makeup every day, and they have to be so careful not to touch it. People who can do that every day are really amazing!
Lastly, yesterday was Sho's birthday, did you do anything for him?
I sent him a “happy birthday!” message.
But.. I haven't yet given him a present.
Me neither, but I can't decide what would be good this year...
Well, we will have to decide pretty quickly!
